You had me at Sriracha.
I have a (maybe not so) secret love of Sriracha. Whenever a see a recipe with it as an ingredient my eyes light up and I start to drool. Not a pretty sight. The latest example of this was a recipe for Sriracha and Lime Roasted Cabbage from the Kalyn’s Kitchen blog that crossed my email.
Generally I’m not a huge fan of cabbage (other than in coleslaw), but I am a fan of roasted vegetables so why not cabbage – especially if it is roasted with Sriracha and lime? While the picture above may not have done it justice, the flavor was sublime. Coupled with a steak marinated in soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, vegetable oil, honey, garlic and ginger this made for a great Asian-fusion meal.
